Widely regarded as one of the country’s finest youth orchestras, the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) sought to transform the iconic 235 Huntington Avenue building—also known as the “Sunday School Building” at the Landmarked Christian Science Plaza—to serve as their performance and rehearsal hall facility. Strategically placed in the heart of Boston’s cultural district, the two-story, cast-in-place structure supports BYSO’s future growth with the full renovation and fit-out.

Orchestra rehearsing in a modern concert hall, with musicians sitting in rows and viewing music stands, and a conductor standing in front of them.
